OUR JOURNEY
Where it all began...
Don Cottle, a young family man, started out in business building garages and garden sheds in the Naki.
Rebrand as Egmont Shed Centre
2 years on, Don saw an opportunity in residential Garage Doors and Better Built Garages became Egmont Shed Centre; The Garage Door Specialists, where he made his first garage door in his garage at home.
The expansion into the Industrial sector
Having grown into a new facility, Egmont Doors as it was now called, expanded into the Industrial Sector, beginning with winning a tender to service the doors at Kiwi Dairies (now Fonterra).
Total Doors is established
Kerikeri and Hamilton branches opened in 2005 and 2006 respectively, operating under the name Total Doors.
Ulti Group is formed
The merger of Egmont Doors and Total Doors in 2011, as Ulti Group.
Introducing the new Ulti Group
Now over 25 years old, it was time for a refresh and a new identity. Same great culture of respect and service, same world class products, new modern look.
Celebrating 30+ years!
